FOR EVERYTHING YOUR BARBER WON’T

No, I’m not a sugar daddy. I’m THE Sugar Daddy - a professional hair removal specialist who wants to introduce you to hair removal with sugar.

I fell in love with sugaring when I fell out of love with shaving and waxing, neither of which left my skin feeling as soft and sexy as sugar. I made my first appointment to be sugared, afraid it would hurt – and there are sensations to be sure – but the results were unmistakable. I’m a back, crack & sac kind of guy but once I committed to sugaring, I realized there were very few places that specialized in men’s anatomy.

I opened The Sugar Daddy with the intention of providing a place for men’s hair removal – especially the intimate bits which are a more difficult ask in your average spa or waxing studio. But as a queer man in a new era, it’s important to acknowledge that “man” has a wider net than it used to. Guys, gays, and theys are all welcome here. I mean it. That’s vitally important to me.

You are welcome here. And you’ll love the results so, you’re welcome.

Sugaring / Body Grooming / Bodywork

I’m Armando. I fell in love with body sugaring after more than 25 years as a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. With so much experience navigating the body, sugaring was a natural fit and the next step in my evolution as a care provider.

I used to shave - like so many of us - but was introduced to sugaring and I never looked back. I love my work and all are welcome in my practice. Because our society is beginning to awaken to change, it cannot be stressed enough: everyone is welcome here no matter your gender, sex, gender identity, race, or disability.

    Bodywork

I believe bodywork is an important part of taking care of oneself and vital to overall health. By incorporating Tai Chi principles and body mechanics, my approach creates an integrated, personalized bodywork session with rich fluid strokes and a warm solid connection. Each session is a flow of deep and detailed work mixed with a Swedish style. In addition to focusing on specific areas in need, my aim is also to help you arrive at an overall state of gentle relaxation.

I am a graduate of the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in California and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I have held a private practice since 2012 in Santa Monica and New York.
